Welcome to the Future of STEM Racing.

Who We Are...

We are Team Aurora, a small, passionate group of young designers, engineers, and future leaders, eager to participate in the upcoming F1 in Schools competition. We are curious and enjoy the STEM learning process, where we're able to apply our knowledge and innovate on our interests. Inspired by the Aurora Borealis, the phenomenon which our team name derives from, it is a sign of wonder, care, resilience, and intuition; values we align with and values we uphold. As well as this, we already have deep knowledge into fields of design and science, a key asset for this competition.

What is F1 in Schools?

F1 in Schools is an international STEM competition where groups of students (such as us) collaborate to design and manufacture a small-scale F1 Racing Car using CAD (Computer Aided Design) technology to create the car, and CO₂ to power it. F1 in Schools helps educate students on a multitude of invaluable engineering, science, business, and leadership skills that may be useful assets when preparing for future careers, particularly in tech and design industries.

Meet the Team

Team Aurora is an F1 in Schools team from Regent International School, Dubai. Our primary objective isn't just to win the F1 in Schools National Finals, but to inspire younger minds that with the power of hard work, you are able to accomplish anything. Our team is made of four talented and hardworking students who believe that with teamwork and the right kind of mindset, we can accomplish anything.

“Believe you can, and you’re halfway there.” - Theodore Roosevelt.
